Hi everybody,

I am new in Denmark and recently moved to Køge. I am interested in teaching the Chinese martial arts of the Wutan organization being Northern Praying Mantis, Chen taiji from Du Yu Ze line, and Jiao men changquan. For anybody interested, please feel free to reach out to me. More information about my background can be found on oslowutan.com.

Looking forward to join in some of the topics here as well.

Nice presentation Paolo. Liked the videos.

Rather good to see more chinese boxing styles represented in Denmark.

You mentions a progression from Jiao men chang chuan as a beginning style ( JiBen) before moving on with the other (fighting)styles you teaches ? Is that the case that Jiao men chang chuan is mandatory before learning the others styles ?

BaJi chuan seems like a rather effective style is this a "small" or "large" frame style ???

Not necessarily. I teach tennline tantui to those who are new to Northern CMAs to “clean” their body movement. Tantui also serves as agood tool to develop strong atances, to move as a single unit, and to extend one’s jin.

In regards to bajiquan, like most Northern styles, we start off applying movements in a large frame to extend the inent or penetrating jin. Then movements are condensed down in the advance levels to create an explosive jin, that in theory, should expand in all directions.
